Some of our cruises are specially allocated to parties where you would join in with other guests to sample Halcyon’s delights.

Joining in with other like minded guests to make up a charter party for Halcyon makes great sense. After all they, like you, are likely to be the type of people who appreciate the finer things of life. Choosing to join one of Halcyon’s scheduled cruises, in the Scottish Islands, or on the playgrounds of Devon and Cornwall for example, you will be able to enjoy the company of the other guests, or find a quiet spot aboard her to recharge your batteries, read a good book, or simply watch the world go by. All of Halcyon’s facilities will be there for you.

Perhaps you fancy some gentle sailing between islands, perhaps a sightseeing expedition, some wakeboarding for the adventurous or simply pottering in her original clinker dinghy. Halcyon and her crew there to give you the perfect holiday.

A typical day for a Charter

You might wake in a quiet anchorage and try your luck with a fishing line over the side before the other guests rise for their breakfast. The skipper would brief you on the likely weather for the day and the options that might be open for day. Perhaps the tide is just right for a quick passage through a sound, perhaps a stroll ashore is on the menu. Swimming and wakeboarding can all be arranged of course if you are feeling energetic.

Whatever you choose aperitif’s before dinner, either in the deck saloon or around her enormous teak deck table give you a chance to catch up on what everybody has been up to. Finally you would enjoy a sumptuous dinner prepared from local ingredients by our own chef and you will truly be experiencing “Halcyon Days”
