Chartering Halcyon for a group of friends or a family makes a perfect holiday. You can arrange the ultimate “house party” on board Halcyon for a week or more and pamper your guests in real Halcyon style. You could imagine yourself to be Sir Sam Turner, her first owner, and arrange the cruising ground to suit the exact needs of your party. Perhaps some hard sailing, perhaps some sightseeing expeditions, some wakeboarding for the adventurous or simply pottering in her original clinker dinghy. We have even arranged skiing in the morning and swimming in the afternoon. Halcyon and her crew are there to give you the perfect holiday.
A typical day for a Group Charter You might wake in a quiet anchorage and get the clinker dinghy out for a gentle row before the rest of the family rise for their breakfast. Then you could discuss with the skipper the likely weather for the day and the direction you would like to cruise, perhaps there is a particular island peak you would like to “bag” after lunch. A short morning sail brings you to a bay where the fast RIB will run your whole party ashore in a couple of quick trips to tackle the summit. Returning hot and tired to the boat you might be tempted for a quick swim before showering in one of her three guest shower-rooms and joining your friends for an aperitif before dinner on Halcyon’s enormous teak deck table. Finally a sumptuous dinner prepared from local ingredients by our own chef then you, your family and friends will truly be experiencing “Halcyon Days”. |
What families & friends say about Halcyon... “What a wonderful week. Norway at its splendid best and Halcyon provided comfortable accommodation and great company and crew. Fun and adventures exploring fjords, islands, glaciers, shipyards, and old hotels, waterfalls, etc. etc. A little bit of heaven on earth. Many thanks for generous hospitality, Halcyon and wonderful caring crew.” Sayers and Cathy Kyle “It was a week of two halves - FANTASIC and SUPERB! A team of gorgeous people looking after us. Great food, excellent sailing and the calm weather after the storm. Rob, Annette, Andre thank you SO much.” The Pope Family |
